At least five foreigners die in Everest region in three weeks

Nepali officials say five foreign nationals including three women and two men, trekking in the Everest region, have died in different incidents in past three weeks.
While officials at the Solukhumbu District Administration Office and District Police Office refuse to provide information on the deaths officially, they accept the reports in information conversations.
A source accessed by vip news nepal has provided the details on the condition of anonymity.
According to the source, Austrian national Zell Am See Vera (Passport number UO 878962) died on October 27 while she was returning after summitting the Imchache Peak.
The 29-year-old lady was a part of a five member expedition.
Meanwhile, 60-year-old French national Veronique Julliard (Passport number 15 DF 27737) died this Sunday. She was injured after she slipped while walking along a downward slope in Chukungri, Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality-4 on November 5.
Her body was airlifted to the Lukla Airport on Monday.
Likewise, a 48-year-old Ukrainian man died in Chhuman of Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality-3 of the district on November 8. He has been identified as Xomehko Khomenko Serhi (Passport number FG 535932).
Police say he was accompanied by his wife Xomehko Khomenko Oksana and hence procedures are underway to hand over the body.
Yet in another case, Wong Wen Dee (Malaysian passport number A 37652615) was found dead in a hotel room at a place which is two days’ walk from Namche, on Sunday. Police have not yet received further details about the incident.
The woman was in her early 40s.
In the latest case, Japanese national Hiroyuki Yoshizaki (63) died while he was at the dining hall of Everest Inn Hotel in Gorchhep on Tuesday. The District Police Office has sent a team to the incident site for further probe after the hotelier reported the case.
