Nirmala rape-murder: Police collect DNA samples of four more suspects
Oct 30, 2018- Police have collected DNA samples of four more suspects and sent them to Kathmandu for test, in the ongoing investigation into the rape and murder of 13-year-old Nirmala Panta of Kanchanpur.
DSP Krishna Raj Ojha of the District Police Office, Kanchanpur informed that the collected DNA samples of four suspects have been sent to Kathmandu for the test on Tuesday.
“We have collected and sent the DNA samples of the suspects for test at Kathmandu-based forensic lab,” said DSP Ojha who is also the head of the investigation team, “We collected the samples from the individuals following a lengthy investigation and monitoring.”
DSP Ojha, however, did not made public the names and addresses of the suspects.
