PM's health stable and improving: Doctors
Oct 29, 2018- Doctors attending Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) have said that the Prime Minister's health condition is improving.
A team of Prof Dr Arun Sayami, Prof Dr Dibya Singh Shah and Dr Santa Kumar Das is treating the Prime Minister at the Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre of TUTH.
"The latest reports of the PM's health checkups show signs of improvement. The sugar level is also stable," said Prof Dr Sayami in the media brief Monday evening.
Prime Minister Oli was admitted to the Mobile Coronary Care Unit (MCCU) of the Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre following chest infection at 4:30 am this morning. He had been ill for the past few days due to seasonal flu.
According to Dr Arun Shayami, Oli was rushed to the hospital on ,Monday morning after he felt difficulty in breathing. “We are treating him for a lung infection. He is being administered antibiotics through the vein,” said Shayami, who is involved in the prime minister's treatment. Shayami said Oli's health condition is improving.
Issuing a statement, Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center confirmed that the Prime Minister was admitted at the hospital at 4:30 am today after he showed symptoms of chest infection and imbalance in blood sugar level.
